If you are a current, established patient in our practice we do our best to be available to address your emergency when it happens, knowing sometimes this is after normal working hours. If Dr. McIntyre and Dr. Anderson are unavailable we will be sure to get you in touch with a trusted emergency care provider.

Common Dental Emergency Situations
- Sudden Injuries- Sports injuries, auto injuries and fluke injuries are frequent scenarios we see. Fortunately, your emergency dentist in Colorado Springs offers our patients the ability to address a dental emergency right in our office.
- Severe Toothaches- A toothache can be much more than a distraction. We understand that some tooth pain can be so severe that you are unable to function normally. Schedule a visit if tooth pain is your dental emergency. You need not suffer through hours and days trying to get things done despite the throbbing pain you may be experiencing.
- Unexpected Bleeding- If you find your gums bleeding for no apparent reason or they seem to bleeding more than they should, please get in for a visit. It could be periodontal disease (gum disease) or another issue that needs immediate attention. We will do our best to get you in for an appointment with our emergency dentist.
- Big Events- Usually emergency dentistry is associated with physical trauma or a health risk, but what if you have a big event coming up and you need to feel confident in your smile, we will do everything we can to help you look your best.

Dr. McIntyre has been practicing dentistry in Colorado Springs since 1987. He was afforded the experience of time and change in the community. Initially, he practiced with the El Paso County Health Department pediatric clinic and as Director of the El Polmar Community Health Dental Clinic. After five years, Dr. McIntyre established a full-time private dental practice.
Dr. Butt has been practicing since 1981, in the US Navy. He is extremely knowledgeable about CEREC technologies, and serves as a trainer for Sirona.
Dr. Anderson has been in dentistry since 2001. First as a registered dental hygienist, graduating in 2006, then graduating summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2013. Dr. Anderson graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery(DDS) degree in May of 2020, and completed a hospital based General Practice Residency at Denver Health Medical Center, a level one trauma center and safety net hospital, from 2020-2021, focusing on medically compromised patients, operating room treatment, emergency dental treatment, on-call hospital rotations, comprehensive care (implant planning and restoration), pediatric operating room and in-office treatment, surgical extractions, and complex endodontic treatment.
